"Gypsymariner" was built for purpose... Around the world adventuring exploring the remote locations. Whether comfortably living at anchor or in the marina, she covers all bases with great ability to cruise for extended periods between port calls.
A family home for 10 years from 2012 when the rebuild was completed, she has cruised extensively the East coast of Australia, ranging between Lizard Island and the outer reefs to Tasmania including the remote western side.
This extended cruising ability is enabled by robust systems and tank capacity for 6000 litres of diesel and 3500 litres of potable water. There is an abundance of storage, solar panels, generator and stabilisers.
A bowthruster in conjunction with an articulated rudder system makes this vessel very agile in confined spaces.
. ACCOMMODATION - 3 well-appointed cabins that will sleep 6 (inc. Main with walkaround queen size bed)... Wheel house sleeps 2 and the saloon will sleep another 2.
. HELM - The wheelhouse is full width with 180 deg visibility, doors on each side, portuguese bridge, lounge with dining table, chart table and storage, and equipped with extensive electronics.
. GALLEY - Great size with lots of bench space and storage including a pantry. It is equipped with a convection/microwave/ steamer, Smeg gas cooker with rangehood, double sinks, and a 110 litre Isotherm drawer fridge.
. HEAD - There are 2 bathrooms (1 x internal and 1 x external)
. SALOON - This area is spacious with a large L shape lounge which has plenty of storage underseat, a TV, and plenty of storage.
. AFT DECK - Fully covered, with large storage lockers, and ample room to entertain. Optional use of weather doors and clears gives the option to fully enclose and weatherproof this area.
. ROOF SPACE - large area fitted with a crane for the storage of all that extra cruising gear. Designed for rain water catchment this space is fitted with a 1.5kw solar panel array.
. ENGINE ROOM - full height engineroom/workshop with 6' headroom, full length workbench containing tool and spare part storage, workshop compressor, 1500rpm generator, and a 70 litre hot water system. A fire detection system along with a CO2 supression system gives you peace of mind. The main engine (keel cooled and fitted with a dry exhaust) is connected to a 4:1 gearbox and swings a 4 bladed 43" prop.
. MARINE ELECTRONICS - Simrad NSC12 plotter system with broadband radar, GPS heading compass, and depth sounder. Autopilots x2, VHF radios x 2, AIS receiver, Garmin 536, and second sounder. CCTV for Eng/room
. TENDERS x 2 - a Custom 3.6m cat with 20hp four stroke Suzuki outboard, and a 3.05m Zodiac with 15hp Yamaha outboard
. LAUNDRY - Fitted with Miele front loading washing machine and condensate dryer (no more trying to find a laundromat). Also located in this space is the 240 litre freezer and an additional 70 litre Waeco fridge/freezer.
